#Introduction

Managed Studio lets you handle day-to-day machine administration without needing to log in to AWS for routine tasks. This guide is for admins who need to manage users and EC2 machines in Managed Studio.

#Getting started

The setup flow includes the following steps:

1. Connect your AWS account
2. Import existing machines or create new ones
3. Assign users
4. Connect to machines

#General shortcuts

Managed Studio includes keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation and common actions.

• Press / to focus the first search input on the page.
• Press Cmd + 1 to Cmd + 7 to move through the main sidebar sections from Dashboard to Users.

#Common actions

The interface also supports shortcuts for common actions:

• N opens the form to create a new item.
• I opens the AWS instance import wizard.
• E edits the item you are viewing.
• Cmd + Backspace opens the delete action for the current item.
• Cmd + S saves the item you are editing.
• Cmd + D adds or removes the current item from Favourites when supported.

These shortcuts are intended to speed up common workflows across the platform.
