Settings

Introduction

The Settings page is used for studio-wide configuration and preferences. From the interface shown, the Settings area includes the following sections:

General

The General section is used for basic studio information.

Admins can:

  • View and update the studio name
  • Upload or change the studio avatar
  • Click Save changes

AWS credentials

The AWS credentials section is where Managed Studio is connected to the AWS account.

Admins can:

  • Enter or update the AWS API Key
  • Enter or update the AWS API Secret
  • Verify whether required IAM permissions are configured correctly
  • Click Save changes

Enabled regions

The Enabled regions section controls which AWS regions are available for the team.

Admins can:

  • Search regions
  • Enable or disable specific AWS regions
  • Click Save changes

This controls where machines can be created or imported from within Managed Studio.

Machine defaults

The Machine defaults section is used to define the default remote connection method for machines. Admins can choose from connection methods shown in the interface.

After choosing the preferred default method, click Save changes.

Security settings

The Security settings section controls whether two-factor authentication is optional or mandatory.

Admins can:

  • Leave two-factor authentication as Not required
  • Change it to Required
  • Click Save changes

When enabled as required, users must set up two-factor authentication at their next login.

Single sign-on

The Single sign-on section is used to manage SSO access for the studio.

Admins can:

  • View the studio’s SSO login URL
  • See configured identity providers
  • Remove an existing provider if needed
